Delicately handcrafted ornaments with natural terracotta clay, made by young women based at Raptinagar, District Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The required shape and size is given to the ornament which is then baked. The product is then coloured using oil paint and then varnished to give it a shine. The product is water resistant but should be handled with care. Recommended to air dry before storage and clean with a damp cloth if required.
